I cant believe I actually paid for this. It does not do what it claims! Please dont waste your money or time!
Tracks your route accurately. I like the ability to pause once you reach your destination. It would be nice though, to be able to add the return trip (double the km) if you forget to unpause for the ride home.
I used many mileage tracking apps. Most of them were to just enter the log manually. The ones that had GPS tracking didnt work properly. Finally found an app that does what it says. I just tap Start GPS tracking and tap end when reach my place. Everything is recorded! Live weather is a cool extra to have with this app.
I thought this app had potential - I love drop box integration, but I cant trust this app to record with GPS. If the GPS signal is lost at any time it stops the trip and there is no recorded mileage. Why cant it just pick up when GPS returns? Failure on developer. This is too critical of a function to rely on this app.
If youre a driver for a ride sharing app like I am, you absolutely need to track your gas and mileage for taxes at the end of the year. And after trying all the rest, I can tell you Trip Miles is the best! It provides real time gas costs, mileage, creates a route map, and exports to any format you could want. I talked to the developers who are working on including actual gas purchases and pictures of receipts in the next update. A must get app
